SPRINGFIELD, IL – Honey Lynn Spencer, 53, passed away Thursday, June 30, 2022, at Springfield Memorial Hospital.

She was born December 6, 1968, in Olympia, Washington, to William R. "Bill" Spencer. She was preceded in death by her fiancé, Steve Goss, in 2012; father, Bill; paternal grandparents, Homer and Ernestine Spencer; and father figure, Larry Spencer.

Honey Lynn was employed as a Business Execution Administrator with Wells Fargo since 1995. She was an avid Chicago Cubs fan. She loved her family and adored her nieces and nephews.

She is survived by her siblings, William "Billy" (Melanie) Tinsley, Laura Barbee, Scott Spencer and Carrie (Chad) Walker; mother figure, Jeanette Spencer; companion, John Price; her special fur baby, Mia; and her nieces and nephews, Nicole Rae (J.D.) Minor, Billy (Anna) Tinsley II, Carter Walker, Claire Walker and Gage Spencer.

A Celebration of Life will be held from noon until 5:00 p.m., Sunday, July 31, 2022, at VFW Post 10302, 2349 Stockyard Road, Springfield. The family encourages guests to wear Chicago Cubs attire.
