MECHANICSBURG, IL – Ila Genevieve Riggall Callahan, 86, passed away Tuesday, December 14, 2021, at Quincy Healthcare and Senior Living.

She was born January 23, 1935, to Edwin and Lucy (Taylor) Riggall. She married Clarence Lee Callahan on August 5, 1955. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Clarence on September 26, 2013; son, Terry Lee Callahan on January 7, 2020; and brothers, Verne Riggall, James Riggall, Harold Riggall, Marvin Riggall, Eugene Riggall, Carroll Riggall and Loren Riggall.

She is survived by her daughter, Cindy (Steve) White; grandchildren, Kelly White, Sara (Jared) Schmidt, Justin Callahan, Elizabeth (Chad) McIntyre, Nancy (Brent) Sparks, and David (Emily) White; great-grandchildren, Joshua White, Aiden Callahan, Kaysen Callahan and Hudson Schmidt; sisters, Wilma Geortz, Annis Gerner and Ruth Reid; and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, December 21, 2021 at Camp Butler National Cemetery.
