SPRINGFIELD – James L. "Jim" Klos, Jr., 69, passed away Wednesday, June 18, 2025, at Springfield Memorial Hospital.

He was born in Washington, MO on July 18, 1955, to James L. and Shirley J. (Cassette) Klos; both of whom preceded him in death. He married Sue Fofi on July 18, 2009, in Springfield.

Jim was the owner and operator of Klos Jewelry in Springfield for over 35 years. He enjoyed gardening, cooking, classic cars, creating stained glass and playing with his German Shepherds, Wolfie and Lucy. He was a collector of pocket watches, antique clocks and guns.

He is survived by his wife, Sue; daughter, Jessica McArthur (fiancé, Alex Patterson); brothers, Mark (Jane) Klos and Steve (Kathy) Klos; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial gathering will be held from 5:30 p.m. until the time of a rosary service at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, June 26, 2025, at Vancil-Murphy Funeral Home.
