SPRINGFIELD – Janet F. Milbourn, 87, passed away Friday, July 3, 2026, at St. John's Hospital.

Born to Reverend Fines and Florence Weiss Main in Murrayville, Illinois on August 18, 1938.

Loving mother of Elizabeth (Travis) Wilson and Jeffrey (Monica) Ford. Proud grandmother of Jessica (Donnie) Turner, Kaleb (Katie) Ford, Marcus (Meaghan) and Tim (Mary Margaret) Wilson, and great-grandmother to nine. Dear sister of Doris Taylor and sister-in-law of Sylvia Main.

Preceded in death by parents; brother, Richard Main; sister, Betty Hobbs; brother-in-law, Harold Taylor, and husbands, Murl Ford and Jack Milbourn.

Janet was a member of First Baptist Church in Springfield and a longtime employee of Elliott State Bank and Cellular One.

Visitation will be held from 10 – 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 14, 2026, at Vancil-Murphy Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow in Roselawn Memorial Park.
