SPRINGFIELD – Janice S. Garbin, 74, passed away Wednesday, November 13, 2024, at Springfield Memorial Hospital.

She was born July 30, 1950 to Merlin and Sheila (Knox) Reese, Jr. She married John Garbin and he preceded her in passing.

She most loved spending time with her family, friends and granddogs and will be dearly missed.

Janice is survived by her daughters, Christine McCann, Stacey (Kerry) Kern and Debbie (Chad) Deatherage; grandchildren, Devin McCann, Carsen McCann, Brennan Skaggs, Josie Deatherage, Parker Deatherage, and Mylie Deatherage; great-granddaughter, Oakleigh Kain; brothers, Brian Reese and Kevin Reese; and several nieces and nephews.

Per Janice's request, no services will be held.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Animal Protective League.
