SPRINGFIELD, IL – Janice R. Krell, 83, passed away Sunday, August 18, 2019, at Memorial Medical Center.

She was born July 6, 1936, to Arthur and Pearl (Davidson) Walker, both of whom preceded her in death.

Janice retired from the Illinois Department of Revenue. She attended Springfield Bible Church and Cherry Hills Baptist Church.

She is survived by her sons, David Krell and Dale Krell; sister, Brenda (Roger) Odle; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial gathering will be held from 1 p.m. until the time of a memorial service at 2 p.m. Tuesday, August 27, 2019, at Vancil-Murphy Funeral Home, with John Standard officiating.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to: Springfield Bible Church or Cherry Hills Baptist Church.
