SPRINGFIELD – Jason Matthew Norris, 50, passed away Tuesday, August 11, 2026, at Springfield Memorial Hospital.

He was born in Alton on February 4, 1976. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Rita (Cadigan) Norris; and many aunts and uncles, including John Norris.

Jason was a self-employed contractor. He enjoyed local live music shows. He was a man of many talents and interests, some of which included woodworking and beekeeping.

He is survived by his companion, Jennifer Chandler; daughters, Abigail Norris, Hannah Norris, Charlotte Roth and Chantel Long; brothers, Jim, Mike, Patrick, Steve and Jeremy Norris; sisters, Karen Gerdes and Anne Bell; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A Celebration of Life open house will be held from 1 - 3 p.m. Saturday, August 15, 2026, at 2200 Meadowbrook Road.
