SPRINGFIELD, IL – Jeannie A. Lindsay, 54, passed away Sunday, November 28, 2021, at her home.

She was born April 26, 1967, to Charles and Sharon (Wainscott) Lindsay. She was preceded in death by her father.

Jeannie was formerly employed by Prehop Dry Cleaners and Nissan and currently employed by Farmers Insurance Company. She was a member of Springfield First Seventh-day Adventist Church and Illini County Club. She was a Festival of Trees volunteer for seven years.

She is survived by her mother, Sharon; brother, Ronald (Jackie) Lindsay; sisters, Susan (Doug) Meyer, Teri (Jason) Valbert and Karen (Clinton) Curry; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. Friday, December 3, 2021, at Vancil-Murphy Funeral Home with Joe Lewis officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Park.
