Jeffrey
Curtis
d. Sep 11, 2025
Girard
This is our brother, Jeffrey Curtis.
He passed away on September 11, 2025.Layed his ashes to rest today. For all who knew him this is such a heartbreaking loss! He lived a hard kinda life but was a survivor for 69 years. Our hearts are filled with a sadness that goes deep. For each one of us different memories flood our minds.
He left 4 sisters behind, Brenda Neal, Edna Patton, Ruth Lind, June Taylor and 3 brothers, Gerald Curtis, Richard Curtis and William Curtis. He was preceded in death by his mother, Gladys Curtis, father, Floyd Curtis, two sisters, Audra Kay and Mary Kathrine, two brothers, Leonard Curtis and Junior Curtis.
Jeff loved Elvis, John Wayne and Johnny Cash. Just loved to listen to their music. He could work on bikes and could knit pot holders like a pro. Jeff always would answer us when we would speak to him with the words "Oh I Know". My heart is in lost mode for the time being until the shock wears a little less. The loss will always stay near for all his brothers and sisters. Ya see Jeff was different from the normal person and though that was how God made him he was still a fighter in this cruel world we live in. He now is very alive in the heaven that God has made for all who knows his Son. He can stand straight up now not slumped over. He can now talk good and his mind is a perfect mind now. No more struggle, no more sorrow or being tired or weak. His heart is new, so is his body. I'm so grateful for the love of God and his mercy. Sadness is no more for Jeff! A life of newness and joy is now what he will have. He sees family that has gone before him. He also gets to see Jesus, that is the best gift of all.
