SPRINGFIELD, IL – Jerry G. Fox, 77, passed away Wednesday, March 9, 2022.

He was born July 30, 1944, to Oliver and Ella May (Blackburn) Fox. He married Rose Holloway on March 22, 2013. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Frances Dyer; and brothers, Louie, Larry, Robert and Raymond Fox.

Jerry was co-owner of Jerry & Gary's Auto Salvage.

He is survived by his wife, Rose; children, Gary (Barbara) Fox, Jerri Bollinger, Tracy Marsh, Mindy (Evan) Durako, and Missy (Mike) McGlothlin; stepchildren, Kris Holloway, Eddie (Kristine) Holloway, Jr. and Angie (Hal) Holloway-Ferry; eleven grandchildren; brother, Walter (Cathy) Fox; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until time of service at 1 p.m. Monday, March 14, 2022, at Vancil-Murphy Funeral Home with Reverend Clint Cook officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Park.
