SPRINGFIELD – Jesse Robert Miller, Jr., 77, passed away Sunday, February 12, 2023, at Springfield Memorial Hospital.

He was born November 24, 1945, to Jesse Robert and Ellen Irene (Hayes) Miller, both of whom preceded him in death. He also was preceded in death by his brothers, LaMarurice Miller, Thomas Miller and Clifford Miller; sisters, Ruth Miller and Jackie Miller; and several aunts and uncles.

He is survived by his son, Jonathon Lesly; brothers, Paul Miller and Jack Miller; sisters, Virginia Miller, Mary Jo Miller and Lorna Miller; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. Saturday, February 18, 2023, at Vancil-Murphy Funeral Home.

A repast will immediately follow at Northside Church of Christ, 2400 North Grand Avenue East, Springfield
