Jimmy W. Renoud of Springfield, IL passed away at home on April 27, 2026, at age 63.

He was born on June 17, 1962, in Havana, IL to William and Hazel (Shaw) Renoud.

Jimmy graduated from Mt. Auburn High School in 1980. He worked for Jewel Food Store and Simplex Inc during his working years.

He enjoyed camping and had a deep love for music. Jimmy loved listening to music, writing songs, and playing the bass guitar. He also played in a band for a short time.

Jimmy is survived by his brother-in-law, Craig Carroll; a nephew; and several nieces, all of Springfield.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his sisters, Billie Carroll and Beverly Coontz; his brother Steven Renoud; and his niece Denise Blaser.

Cremation rites have been accorded. No funeral services are planned.
