SPRINGFIELD – Jody L. Sennings, 53, passed away Sunday, October 15, 2023, at her home.

She was born June 2, 1970 to Carl and Shirley (Wyzard) Sennings, both of whom preceded her in death.  She was also preceded by her sister, Terry Sennings.

Jody was formerly employed by K-Mart and Sennings Cleaning Service and was the sales manager for Steam Power Carpet Cleaning. She enjoyed socializing with family and friends.

She is survived by her companion, Steve Halford and his daughter, Tiffany Halford; sister, Amy Lockwood (Dave); brother, Rick (Tricia) Sennings; niece, Brittany Willette; and several other nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, October 20, 2023, at Vancil-Murphy Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, October 21, 2023, at Vancil-Murphy Funeral Home with Pastor Bennie Fisher officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Ridge Cemetery.
