SPRINGFIELD – John R. McQuire, 42, passed away at 8:52 p.m. Saturday, January 31, 2026, surrounded by his family.

He was born February 14, 1983, to Rex and Nancy (Good) McQuire, Sr.

John loved basketball, baseball, working out and furniture moving with his father.

He is survived by his parents, Rex and Nancy McQuire; brother, Rex (Martina) McQuire; sister, Cinthia (Rich) Dyer; daughter, Morgan; companion, Barb Banning; nieces, Calista, Chrissy, and Isabel; nephews, Austin and Rex; great-nephews, Lincoln and Roman; and great-niece, Aria.

Private family services were held.
