SPRINGFIELD – John Walter Richards, Jr., 84, died peacefully on July 31, 2025, at his daughter's home in Springfield.
He was born in Lincoln on September 4, 1940, to John W. and Verna (Craig) Richards, both of whom preceded him in death. His oldest son, John William Richards, also preceded him in death.
