SPRINGFIELD – John Matthew Sinovich of Springfield, Illinois, passed away on April 25, 2026, at the age of 31, after succumbing to injuries sustained in an accident on April 9, 2026.

He was born on October 15, 1994, to Michael Oxford and Ann Marie Sinovich. He was preceded in death by his mother, Ann Marie Sinovich; grandparents, John and LaVerne Sinovich; and step-brother, Anthony Frantz.

John is survived by his father, Michael (Lisa) Oxford; grandparents, Richard and Linda Oxford; brother, John Albert (Cortlyn) Oxford; step-brothers, David (Morgan) Frantz, Spencer (Melissa Ushman) Robinson and Garrett (Kyleigh Keihn) Johnson; step-sister, Lauren (Jacee Hammons) Robinson; aunts, Susan Prentice, Mary Jane (John) Heidger, Janice (Dirk) Dietz, Cindy (Keith) Ward and Therese (Mike) Leonard; fiancée, Cassie Prichard and her 3 children along with several cousins.

John joined the family business in Springfield, Illinois in 2017. He had a passion for motorcycles and cars. He was newly engaged and looking forward to an amazing future with Cassie and her children.

Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of a funeral service at 12 p.m. Saturday, May 9, 2026, at Vancil-Murphy Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Park.
