SPRINGFIELD – Kendra L. Fabish, 56, passed away Sunday, June 18, 2023, at her home.

She was born March 7, 1967 to Charles William and Jeri R. (Edwards) Allen. She was preceded in death by her mother; niece, Ember Allen; and sister-in-law, Cyndi Allen.

Kendra was a 1985 graduate of Pawnee High School where she was a member of National Honor Society and played volleyball. She graduated from St. John's School of nursing in 1991 and was employed as a Registered Nurse for the past 32 years, most recently by the State of Illinois for 16 years.  She was a member of West Side Christian Church and was very proud of her 12 years sobriety with Alcoholics Anonymous.  She was also proud to be Tutu to her 4 grandchildren.

She is survived by her children, Adam Allen (Corrine), Caleb Fabish (Victoria) and Mikaila Fabish (Darrius); 4 grandchildren, Amara, Veronica, Paul and Leeann; her father, Bill Allen; and brother, Dennis Allen.

The family will receive friends from 11:30 a.m. until the time of a memorial service at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, June 22, 2023, at West Side Christian Church with Dan Edwards and Michael Swearingen officiating.
