Kristy Leeann Green (Willhelm), 54, of Spaulding, Il, passed away May 15, 2024, at home.

She was born June 26, 1969 to Gloria Butler and George Willhelm. They preceded her in death.

Kristy married Jim Green on April 30, 2002 in Maui, Hawaii. She is survived by her husband and her children, Stephanie (Stephen) Rogers, Anne McAllister (Gerald Roets), Dan (Angela) Green and Jonathon (Heather) Green. She was blessed with two bonus children, Laura Jean (Krystina) Colon and Robbie (Monica) Willhem.

Kristy adored all of her grandchildren, Cameren, Douglas, Callie, Dyllan, James, Kayden, Magnolia, Jaerod, Jazzlee, Emily, Madison, Italia, and Brayden. She also had three great-grandsons CJ, Callum, and Doryin. She is also survived by a large extended family.

Kristy worked at CWLP as a buyer for most of her career. Traveling, chips and salsa, beaches and spending time with her children and grandchildren held special places in her heart. Blessed with friends aplenty, Kristy had the best friend group anyone could ever ask for. With sisters found everywhere, Kristy was the epitome of a true friend. She was always more concerned with the well-being of others than of her own. Kristy was the kind of person whose smile lit up the room. She had the kind of laugh that made people want to laugh along. She will forever be found in the sunshine on summer days and the sweet tang of a good margarita.

A celebration of the wonderful life Kristy led will be held at the Curve Inn on Friday, May 31, 2024 from 3:00 to 7:00 PM. Please dress brightly, or in Hawaiian attire as it would be what Kristy would have wanted.
