SPRINGFIELD – Larry W. Hackwith, 71, passed away Friday, September 8, 2023, at Villa Healthcare East in Sherman.

He was born February 7, 1952 to Otto and Betty (Spain) Hackwith. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Otto Hackwith III and Bobby Hackwith;

Larry loved to listen to music and play his drums. He enjoyed watching wrestling.

He is survived by his children, Jason (Misty) Hackwith; Kellie (Anthony) Hickman and Stacy Hackwith; eight grandchildren, Marissa, Daulton, Olivia, Catlynn, Autumn, Aurora, Michael and Jayden; four great-grandchildren; brother, Lloyd "Butch" Hackwith; and several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturday, September 30, 2023, at the VFW Post 10302 2349 Stockyard Road, Springfield.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Animal Protective League.
