ROCHESTER, IL – Larry M. Heinrich, 86, passed away Monday, July 18, 2022, at St. John's Hospital.

He was born July 16, 1936, to William and Viola (Thaxton) Heinrich. He married Sandra Gentry on September 30, 1972 in Springfield. He was preceded in death by his brother, Jim Thaxton.

Larry was a US Air Force Veteran. He retired from American General Insurance, formerly Franklin Life.

He is survived by his wife, Sandra; sons, Gary (Keli) Casper, Greg (Lisa) Casper and Brad (Mary) Heinrich; daughter, Kimberly (Ron) Hutmacher; eleven grandchildren, Evan, Molly, Madison, Sophia, Nicholas, Kayla, Joe, Kendall, Kenna, Josh and Heather; seven greatgrandchildren, Waylon, Weslyn, Walker, Bexley, Beckett, Ellis and Aria; sisters, Kathy Yazell and Joanne Tomizoli; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of service at noon on Friday, July 22, 2022, at Vancil-Murphy Funeral Home, with Reverend Melissa Ebken officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Park.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
