SPRINGFIELD – Larry Allen Mitts, 60, passed away Friday, December 19, 2025, at Springfield Memorial Hospital.

He was born February 24, 1965, to Kenneth E. and Sharon J. (Gardiner) Mitts. He was preceded in death by his wife, Carol; his parents; and his St. Bernard, Buddy.

He is survived by his son, Doug Mitts; daughter, Amanda Mitts; sister, Beverly (Curt) Langenfeld; nephews, Colin and Kyle Langenfeld; great-nephew, Benji Langenfeld; and his canine companion, Roxie.

A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Susan G. Komen for the Cure or Animal Protective League.
