SPRINGFIELD, IL – Lindsey "Lynn" Craig, 54, passed away Wednesday, September 1, 2021, at Memorial Medical Center.

She was born June 4, 1967, to Paul Craig, Jr. and Delores "Dee" Winterbauer. Her mother preceded her in death.

Lynn was employed with the Illinois Secretary of State for 18 years. She enjoyed horseback riding when she was young and watching her boys ride dirt bikes. She loved her children, grandchildren, wolves, dogs and all animals. She enjoyed music, especially Aaron Lewis and Natalie Merchant.

She is survived by her sons, Keegan (Riley) Craig and Kaleb Bench; grandchildren, Avery, Jackson and Harrison Craig and Braylen Bench; father, Paul Craig, Jr.; sisters, Lisa Craig and Lori Maddox; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

A private graveside service will be held at Oak Ridge Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Animal Protective League in Springfield.
