LITCHFIELD – Lonnie P. Law, 62, of Litchfield passed away Wednesday, September 3, 2025, at Springfield Memorial Hospital.

He was born January 30, 1963 to Melbourne and Nora (Jarman) Law, both of whom preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Jane; and two nieces.

Lonnie enjoyed dancing, western movies and motorcycles. He cherished time spent with his family, especially his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Ruth; son, Lonnie (Ashley) Law; step-daughter, Hilary Blankenship (partner, Jason); grandchildren, Carlee, Chloe, Kyndall and Kolbe; step-grandchildren, Misty, Dawson and Chelsey; three step-great-grandchildren; sisters, Rita, Leeta, Georgia and Melba; and several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held 2 – 5 p.m. Saturday, September 13, 2025, at the Litchfield Moose Lodge 1634, 221 N. Madison St., Litchfield, IL.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family of Lonnie P. Law.
