CHATHAM, IL – Lourdes Landry, 84, passed away Wednesday, May 7, 2025, at High Point Residence in Taylorville.

She was born in the Philippines on February 11, 1941, to Placida Soriano and Domingo Dela Cruz. She married Richard Landry on July 2, 1988. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughters, Ruby Pauley, Angelita Green and Susan (Kelley) Griffin; brothers, Macario Dela Cruz, Emilio Dela Cruz and Mauricio Dela Cruz; and sisters, Gertrudes Cato and Angelita Salazar.

Lourdes was employed by Famous Barr for 20 years and Dr. Tim Van Fleet and Dr. Korine Vlahos for 20 years. She was a member of Calvary Church.

She is survived by her husband, Richard; sons, Alvin Green, Jr., Joshua Landry (Mollye Pooton) and Joel Landry (Anna Peterson); grandchildren, Amelia Green, Nate Green, Stephen Pauley, Hailee Gallegos, Alex Pauley and Emma; brother, Florencio Dela Cruz; several nieces and nephews; and son-in-law, Buddy Pauley.

Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of a funeral service at 11:30 a.m. Friday, May 16, 2025, at Vancil-Murphy Funeral Home with Pastor Mark Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Chatham Cemetery.
