PHOENIX, AZ – Luella Griffiths, 101, passed away Friday, August 24, 2018.

She was born March 31, 1917, to James and Hettie (Wilcoxson) Squires. She married William Griffiths on May 31, 1939. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; two sons, four sisters and two brothers.

Luella worked for the Flamingo Beauty School and was a member of West Side Christian Church. She raised her family in Nokomis. She loved to dance and travel.

She is survived by her children, Daniel (Sue) Griffiths, Roger (Nancy) Griffiths, and Jan Griffiths; 4 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; sisters, Wilda Harris and Rosalie Recchia; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service: 11 a.m. Saturday, September 8, 2018, at Vancil-Murphy Funeral Home with Pastor Mike Harney officiating. Burial will follow in Brush Creek Cemetery, Divernon.
