Obituary

SPRINGFIELD – Lulabelle Woodrum, 88, passed away Wednesday, December 7, 2022, at Springfield Memorial Hospital.

She was born May 28, 1934, to Chester and Bessie (Shelton) Taylor. She married Don O. Woodrum on December 21, 1951, in Springfield, Florida. She was preceded in death by her husband; son, David; grandson, Dwayne; brothers, Owen, Ray, Guy, George, Bob and Ben Taylor; and sisters, Ruth Campbell, Helen Taylor and Esther Lael.

Lulabelle was formerly employed by K-Mart. She was a devoted member of Eastview Baptist Church.

She is survived by her children, Debra (Robert) Jones and Phillip Woodrum; three granddaughters, Chrisi Hagan, Roxanne (Landon) Kennedy and Ashley (Zachary) Mapes; six great-grandchildren, Jakob (Taylor) and Joshua Hagan, Anna and Noah Mapes, and Winnie and Waylon Kennedy; two great-great-grandsons, Holt and Brant Hagan; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 10:30 a.m. until time of service at 11:30 a.m., Saturday, December 10, 2022, at Vancil-Murphy Funeral Home with Pastor Bennie Fisher officiating. Burial will follow in Fancy Creek Cemetery.
