SPRINGFIELD, IL – Marc W. Swiney, 50, passed away Saturday, October 3, 2020, at St. John's Hospital.

He was born November 7, 1969, to Jerry and Ruth Ann (Nunes) Swiney. He married Pamela Falzone on August 22, 1993. He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.

Marc worked as a delivery driver for Bill Doran Company.  He enjoyed going to the Metropolis and Mecca Game Stores.  He enjoyed table top role playing games, PC games, board games, painting miniatures, movies, comics, super heroes, anime, music and reading, especially about theology and philosophy.

He is survived by his wife, Pamela; two nieces; one great-niece; one great-nephew and several cousins.

A memorial gathering will be held from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, October 8, 2020, at Vancil-Murphy Funeral Home. A graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Friday, October 9, 2020, at Oak Hill Cemetery in Buckhart.
