SPRINGFIELD – Marcia B. Kronenberg, 75, passed away Tuesday, May 30, 2023, at Villa Health Care East.

She was born January 26, 1948, to Roscoe and Harriet (Browning) Brooks. She married Donald Kronenberg.  She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

Marcia worked as an executive secretary for Sara Lee Corporation in Chicago, retiring after many years of service. She enjoyed gardening, home décor and was an avid reader.

She is survived by her sisters, Carol Brooks (Fred Schied) of Fallbrook, California and Janet (Greg) Campbell of Springfield; nieces, Nicole Schied of Oceanside, California and Ashley (Aaron) Sagle of Springfield; and great-nieces, Macie and Madison.

A private graveside service will be held at a later date in McCord Cemetery, Perry, IL.
