SPRINGFIELD – Marian L. Tomlinson left her friends peacefully in sleep at Springfield Memorial Hospital on March 1, 2025.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Bob; and lifelong friend, Ali.

She was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan along with following many other sports. She was one of Springfield's finest bowlers and was a member of the Springfield Women's Bowling Association Hall of Fame,

Marian loved her dogs, Sassy and Harley, and supported both the Benld AP and the Springfield APL. She generously gave to her church and many other organizations.

She was a generous soul and in return, her neighbors took care of her. She will be missed by her many friends.

Donations may be made to the Springfield Animal Protective League.

A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
