Marilyn J. Lowe, 89 of Springfield, passed away Saturday, December 28, 2024, with her family by her side.

She was born October 3, 1935 to John and Petrah (Lakin) Lowe.

Marilyn worked numerous years for the State of Illinois and ended her career working for the Macoupin County Public Health Department as the Domestic Violence Coordinator.

Marilyn loved making baskets, sewing, sports, and was an avid dog lover.

She is survived by her children, Daniel (Barbara) Becker, Pamela (Daniel) Gaefcke, Robert (Lori Bott) and Rebecca (William) Moran; multiple grandchildren and great-grandchildren and one sister, Phyllis LaMothe of Lincoln.
