SPRINGFIELD, IL – Mark A. Noonan, 65, passed away Thursday, October 18, 2018, at his home.

He was born July 20, 1953, to Matthew Jr. and Audrey (Schleyhan) Noonan. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Brian Noonan; sister-in-law, Sharon Noonan; and several aunts and uncles.

He was a member of Knights of Columbus #4175 and a life member of St. Joseph Church. He was a graduate of St. Joseph Grade School and Griffin High School. He enjoyed history and politics.

He is survived by his siblings, Matthew III (Carol) Noonan, Maureen (Michael) Horstman, Michael (Sheila) Noonan, Kevin Noonan, Luke Noonan, Missy (Richard) Schmitz, Kelly Noonan and Kerry (Christopher) Lewis; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

A Memorial Gathering will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of a Memorial Mass at noon on Monday, October 29, 2018, at St. Joseph Church, with Reverend Manuel P. Cuizon officiating. Inurnment will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
