SPRINGFIELD – Mark Alan Tansky, 64, passed away Saturday, April 25, 2026, at his home.

He was born August 2, 1961, to William C. Tansky, Sr. and Marilyn Joann (Green) Tansky; both of whom preceded him in death.

Mark retired from Springfield Memorial Hospital in 2025, after 35 years of service. Mark had a great sense of humor and loved music. He was also a talented woodworker, a trait that will live on through his sons.

He is survived by his sons, Justin (Irene) Tansky and Jordan Tansky (Shala Clow); grandson, Robert Atanda; brothers, William C. "Charlie" Tansky, Jr., Scott Tansky and Michael Tansky; and several nieces and nephews.

Per Mark's wishes, no services will be held.
