SPRINGFIELD, IL – Mary A. Wood, 69, passed away Thursday, September 8, 2022, at Springfield Memorial Hospital.

She was born January 9, 1953, to Steve and Anastasia (Cisco) Bikai. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Andy Bikai and Jimmy Bikai.

Mary was a fantastic cook and baker and loved music. She was an animal lover and rescued several abandoned kittens, nursing them back to health with the assistance of the Animal Protective League.

She is survived by her daughter, Shelley Wood; granddaughter, Katie Jordan (companion, Dennis Evans); and several nieces and nephews.
