SPRINGFIELD – Mary Alice Cass, 86, passed away Thursday, June 13, 2024, at St. John's Hospital.

She was born March 7, 1938 to Albert and Opal Drone. She was preceded in death by her son, Robert Lykins, Jr.; grandson, Nick; brother, Albert; and sister, Jo Ann.

Mary loved to garden and spend time with her family.

She is survived by her husband, Michael; children, Deborah, Donald and Elaine; five grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; brothers, Arthur Drone (her twin) and Robert Drone; several nieces and nephews; and her dog, PeeWee.

A memorial gathering will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of a memorial service at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 20, 2024, at Vancil-Murphy Funeral Home.
