SPRINGFIELD, IL – Mary Claire Haugh, 85, passed away Thursday, January 3, 2019, at St. John's Hospital.

She was born July 8, 1933, to George B. and Mary (Cook) Casey. She married Joseph B. Haugh on February 19, 1955, at Blessed Sacrament Church. She was preceded in death by her husband; son, Joseph Haugh, Jr.; her parents; sisters, Barbara Johnson, Ruth Applegate and Catherine Pfeiffer; and brother, Joseph B. Casey.

Mary Claire graduated from St. John's School of Nursing in 1954. She was a Registered Nurse and retired from the Illinois Department of Revenue. She was a member of Blessed Sacrament Church, Blessed Sacrament Women's Club, American Legion Auxiliary and the Altar and Rosary Society at St. Mary's Church in New Berlin.

She is survived by her children, Kathleen (Lawrence) Jochem, Maureen (Mark) Stover, Anne (Michael) Fitz; Kevin Haugh, Madonna (Lawrence) Koselke and James (Amy) Haugh; grandchildren; Anne (Roy) Smith, Joseph and Andrew Fitz, and Margaret and Brian Haugh; brothers, George P. (Bette) Casey and Michael J. (Bonnie) Casey; and many nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, January 8, 2019, at Blessed Sacrament Church with Reverend Jeff Grant officiating. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, New Berlin.
