SPRINGFIELD, IL – Mary Jane Wright, 89, passed away Sunday, April 25, 2021, at Lewis Memorial Christian Village.

Mary Jane was born June 10, 1931, to Homer and Florence (Lamken) Wright. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Helen Burkholder; and niece, Lisa Canum.

Mary Jane retired from CIPS and was a member of Professional Secretaries. She loved to travel and enjoyed reading and nature.

She is survived by her nieces, Cindy Cleaver and Donna Burkholder; nephew-in-law, Tully Canum; great-nieces, Sara Marcello and Britta Canum; great-great-nephews, Elijah Wilson, C. J. Marcello and Alex Marcello.

Visitation will be held from 1-2 p.m. Friday, April 30, 2021, at Vancil-Murphy Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow in Horse Creek Cemetery in Pawnee with Pastor Kamden Trummel officiating.
