Michael Allen Kemple passed away on August 26, 2022, in Jacksonville, IL.

He was born on October 7, 1956, in Peoria to Billy E. and Betty J. Kemple. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Richard "Dick" Kemple and Steven Kemple of Peoria.

He was married to the love of his life Barbara Lee Ann Jones in Franklin, IL, on July 2, 1977. They had two children together, Justyn (Claudia "Nikki") Kemple of Springfield, IL and Michelle Nicole (Partner Josh Olmstead) Kemple of Bluffs, IL. Michael also had four grandchildren who he loved with his whole heart, Adam, Jayden Kemple, Joshua Michael, and his little princess Jasmine "Jazzy Baby" Olmstead. Michael will be dearly missed by his beloved four-legged side kick and companion, Oscar. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Michael had many jobs throughout his life, Anderson-Clayton in Jacksonville, Precision Tank and Equipment in Virginia and then later retired. He enjoyed spending time with his wonderful wife, children, grandchildren and his dog, Oscar. Michael was an avid viewer of the television show Cops. He loved to take his grandchildren on golf cart rides and spend time with his dog.

Cremation rites were accorded.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 10, 2022, at 10:30 a.m. at the St. Augustine Parish Hall, 800 West Main St., Ashland, IL 62612. Casual dress is welcomed.
