NEW BERLIN, IL – Michael A. Meyer, 39, passed away Wednesday, June 6, 2018, at Memorial Medical Center.

Michael loved his children, his family and visiting on the porch with his neighborhood buddies. He is greatly missed by his feline friends, Gus and Bella.

Michael is preceded in death by his father, Wendell Meyer.

He is survived by his mother, Mary (Nicholas) Ciaccio of New Berlin. He leaves behind his siblings, Scott (Wendy) of Franklin, Jeffery of Chatham, Missy (Chris) of Bolingbrook and Aaron (Erica) of Springfield; and son, Calob Meyer-Stokes of Pawnee.

Michael shared a very special friendship with Chrystal Call and her children, Evan Shaeffer and Quentin (Jessica) Call of Fort Riley, Kansas.

Michael also leaves behind several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

A gathering to honor and share stories of Michael was held on Saturday, June 9, 2018.

Vancil-Murphy Funeral Home is in charge of his cremation and a trip to Shawnee Forest is being scheduled at a later date.
