SPRINGFIELD, IL – Michael E. Sanderfield, 20, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Sunday, November 28, 2021, at his home.

He was born November 28, 2001, to Terry and Paula (Shaffer) Sanderfield.

Michael loved cars, animals and video games. He enjoyed following stock trends and investing.

He is survived by his parents, Terry and Paula Sanderfield; siblings, Ashleigh, Devon and Alicia Sanderfield; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial gathering will be held from 1-3 p.m. Saturday, December 4, 2021, at Vancil-Murphy Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Michael Sanderfield Memorial Fund (c/o Terry Sanderfield) which will be given to Michael's favorite charity.
