SPRINGFIELD, IL – Michael A. Standage, 56, passed away Thursday, December 23, 2021, at Springfield Memorial Hospital.

He was born July 5, 1965, to Kenneth W. and Wanda (Courtney) Standage, Sr. He married Tammy Woodson on November 13, 2003, in Springfield. He was preceded in death by his father; brothers, Kenny and David; and granddaughter, Adaleigha Standage.

Michael was the owner and operator of Coverall Construction. He enjoyed traveling, camping and playing poker machines. He was an avid Cardinals and NASCAR fan.

He is survived by his wife, Tammy; children, Jessica Woodson, Michael Motley, Nicole Hansen and Patrick Motley; 25 grandchildren; mother, Wanda Standage; brother, Billy Standage; sister, Lisa Ishmeal; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. – 12 p.m. Thursday, December 30, 2021, at Vancil-Murphy Funeral Home. A funeral service will immediately follow at 12 p.m. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park.
