SPRINGFIELD, IL – Michelle Marie Neal, 33, passed away Friday, May 29, 2020, at Memorial Medical Center.

She was born August 9, 1986, to David Burns and Paula Shanks-Neal. She was preceded in death by her mother, Paula and her grandmothers, Daisy June Whitehorn and Francis J. Hartley.

She is survived by her children, Xavier, Zayne, Chase and Chance; father, David (Deborah) Burns; brothers, Daniel Burns and Clifton Carron-Campbell; sister, Frani (Frank)Sprague; long-time trusted friend, Vincent 'Uncle Vinnie' Williams; three double cousins, Jimmy, Rhonda and Jennifer Shanks;  Zachary, Catherine and Kristopher Slater, Kira Schaller and Sharlie Crayne and several other aunts, uncles, cousins and step-brothers/sisters and a host of friends.

Due to COVID-19, services will be scheduled at a later date.

The family requests donations be made to Gift of Hope to honor Michelle for being an organ donor.
