SPRINGFIELD, IL – Nicholas Adam Painter, 31, passed away Wednesday, July 24, 2019.

He was born October 18, 1987, to Brenda (Houston) Painter and Stephen Painter. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Robert and Letha Houston and Charles and Virginia Painter.

Nicholas was the best stay at home dad. He enjoyed flipping houses and was a graphic designer and tattoo artist. He loved to ride his motorcycle, 4-wheeler and scooter and loved going fast. He had a big heart. He loved spending time with his family and loved his pets.

He is survived by his fiancé, Olivia; and her parents, Connie Pate and Marty Pate; daughter, Jazmyn; parents, Brenda Painter and Stephen Painter (companion, Amanda); brother, Steve Painter; and several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, July 30, 2019, at Vancil-Murphy Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 31, 2019, at Vancil-Murphy Funeral Home. Burial will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery.

The family invites you to a memorial luncheon at the Aqua Sports Club, following the committal service at Oak Ridge.
