CHATHAM – Nick M. Mably, 62, passed away Wednesday, March 4, 2026, at his home.

He was born November 28, 1963, to Ronald and Linda (Sembell) Mably. He was preceded in death by his father, Ron; sister, Lori Crowell; his grandparents; and parents-in-law, Joseph and Sandra Skeeters.

Nick loved his family more than anything. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting, fishing and mushroom hunting. He loved his dogs and spent much of his time cuddled up with one or all of them on the couch or in bed. He was always lending a helpful hand to anyone who needed it and was known as the best friend, partner, father and grandfather. Nick was employed by Kwik-Wall for 35 years, retiring in 2020.

He is survived by his life partner and soulmate of 36 years, Traci Skeeters; son, Zachary Skeeters; daughters, Robin (Will) Cragoe, Christina (Andrew) Goodpasture and Brianna (Graham) Bender; grandchildren, Eva Cragoe, Reese Cragoe, Alister Goodpasture and Lyle Goodpasture; mother, Linda Mably; brother, Kevin (Cindy) Mably; and several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Nick's Life will be announced at a later date.
