SPRINGFIELD, IL - Norman H. Lennox, 89, passed away Wednesday, November 28, 2018, at Lewis Memorial Christian Village.

He was born October 29, 1929, in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, to Norman W. and Iris (Keep) Lennox. He married Mary Sinclair in 1950, in Winnipeg. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary, in 2006; granddaughter, Laura Valentine; great-granddaughter, Jayden Sidener; sister, Millie McCaw; companion, Vera Passini.

Norman was an optician for 55 years. He enjoyed golfing, hockey and traveling.

He is survived by his children, Sandy (Stan) Valentine, Jean (Rick) Cisco, Tom (Crystal) Lennox, Erin (Jerry) Landgrebe, Nancy (Martin) Tovar and Mary (Jim) McRill; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A memorial gathering will be held from 4 p.m. until the time of a Eulogy at 6 p.m., Tuesday, December 4, 2018, at Vancil-Murphy Funeral Home.
