SPRINGFIELD, IL – Paul E. Kendall, 75, passed away Tuesday, August 17, 2021, at Memorial Medical Center.

He was born January 20, 1946, to Paul F. and Dorothea (Campbell) Kendall, both of whom preceded him in death. He married Rosemary Huntley on January 24, 1985.

Paul was a US Army veteran serving in Vietnam from 1966 to 1967. He retired from the Springfield Fire Department in 1999 after 27 years of service.

He is survived by his wife, Rosemary and son, Jeffrey D. Kendall.

Visitation will be held 4-6 p.m. Monday, August 23, 2021, at Vancil-Murphy Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, August 24, 2021, at Camp Butler National Cemetery. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
