SPRINGFIELD – Paula L. (Rutschke) Roehl, 79, passed away Monday, April 7, 2025 at Sunrise Skilled Nursing and Rehab.

She was born April 29, 1945 to Paul and Mildred (Crabtree) Rutschke. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, James Brown; brother, Charles Rutschke; and sister-in-law, Louise Rutschke.

Paula was a member of House of Prayer and was a volunteer at Inner City Mission for many years.  She enjoyed church work, crafts, search-a-words and jigsaw puzzles.

She is survived by her nephews, Chuck (Dawn) Rutschke and Scott Rutschke; great-nephews, Christopher and Ryan Rutschke; great-nieces, Tara, Catey, Hannah, Amber, Jessica and Rachel Rutschke.

Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m. Friday, April 11, 2025, at Vancil-Murphy Funeral Home, with Pastor Larry Hanson officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Ridge Cemetery.
