September 14, 2013, Penelope (Penny) Glenn Coco found her forever home.  At just ten weeks old, she was welcomed with open arms. She crossed the Rainbow Bridge on July 7, 2024, where she was greeted by her aunt, Daisy Murphy and uncle, Fritz Murphy who crossed the bridge before her.

She was lovingly referred to as P, P Dog, Penelee, Penny Glenn, LMNOP Dog, Angel Girl, among many other names.

Penny is survived by her mother and father, Emily and Riley Murphy; puppy sister, Roxie; little brother, Mason; Grandma and Grandpa, Todd and Cathy Hammond; aunt, Sarah Hammond; puppy cousin, Alana Hammond; Grammy and Grampy, Brian and Adrienne Murphy; uncle, Jack Murphy; and puppy uncle, Steve Murphy.

Penny was a girl on a mission with her top priority always being food.  She looked out for number one and if you were unable or unwilling to do exactly what she wanted, she would do it herself.  It was this fighting spirit that gave her family the greatest gift they could hope for, a little extra time with their girl.  Her greatest loves were her family, riding in the car with her body as far out the window as she could get it, being scratched and being on/in the water.  She spent many weekends boating, swimming, kayaking and napping.  Those in her life call her an Icon.  They weren't far off as this personality filled, photogenic, determined and sweet girl truly was an icon.  She touched the lives of everyone she met.  Penny left the world a better place than she found it.

The kind and caring staff at Petersburg Veterinary Clinic helped provide Penny with the greatest level of care throughout her life.  It is thanks to a blood transfusion and her brave friend Doug, that Penny was able to make it to her eleventh birthday.
