Phyllis Marie Reese (Groth), 57 passed away on Friday, August 4, 2023, at 1:25PM in the comfort of her daughter's home in Divernon, IL.

Phyllis is survived by her husband, Christopher Reese of Hamilton, MS; her kids, Krystal Mitchell of Springfield, Ashley Verry (William Verry) of Divernon and Kodi Heinemann of Springfield; her grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Tyrese, Jasen, Tyler, Ashton, Jordan, Nevaeh, Vynessah and Willow; great-grandchild; Alaini; her brothers, Chris (Kelly S.), Joe, Rodney (Kelly), and Troy (Krisinda) all of Springfield.

Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents, Francis and Patricia Groth; her brother; Michael Groth; grandparents, aunts and uncles.

Phyllis was born on August 17,1965 in Springfield IL. Phyllis was mostly a homemaker most of her life. Her children and grandchildren were the light of her life. She moved to Mississippi in 2017 where she resided until her recent health issues and she moved home to be with her family. Her passion for a good junk find was her favorite hobby and thing to do.

Phyllis had a heart a mile wide and was such a giving person. Phyllis will be missed by so many. Phyllis's wish was to attend her own celebration of life. A dinner will be held at a later date in Phyllis's honor.
