Robert Karl Richards, 92, passed away Thursday, February 2, 2023, at his home.

He was born January 12, 1931, to George and Catherine (Davis) Richards. He married Rachel Sue Hamilton on April 27, 1968. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Bob attended the University of Iowa. He worked at Sears & Roebuck for 38 years, Illinois National Bank for 9 years, and Walmart for 16 years, finally retiring in 2018. He was a member of Eastview Baptist Church. Bob loved the Lord, his family and all of his beloved dogs.

He is survived by his wife, Rachel "Sue"; his children, Bobby Richards, Jeffrey (Liza) Richards, Tim Harte, Karla Richards and Lisa Harte; grandchildren, Jacqueline Walsh and Lauren Richards; great-grandchildren, Lyla and Emmett; and his half-brother, Don Richards.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, February 9, 2023 at Roselawn Memorial Park with Reverend Bennie Fisher officiating.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Animal Protective League.
