SPRINGFIELD, IL – Robert P. Tishler, 53, passed away Friday, July 29, 2022, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.

He was born in Chicago on August 13, 1968, to Gerald and Phyllis (O'Brien) Tishler. He married Gloria Pena on January 5, 2002, in Troy, Illinois. He was preceded in death by his mother and brother, Richard.

Robert was currently employed with Springfield Memorial Hospital.

He is survived by his wife, Gloria; son, Benjamin Tishler; father, Gerald (Teresa) Tishler; brothers, Randy Tishler and Michael (Arleen) Tishler; sister, Susan Mathy; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, August 3, 2022, at Vancil-Murphy Funeral Home.
